Aviation Business Studies Program

Harv's Air and Red River College Steinbach Campus are pleased to announce the Aviation Business Studies Program.

Aviation Business Studies Program is a 12-14 month certificate program with an annual fall and spring start date. The program is offered by a partnership between Red River College: Steinbach Campus and Harv's Air. Students have the option of continuing their studies a second year to obtain a diploma at Red River College in Winnipeg.

Today pilots need more then a pilot licences and ratings to be marketable in the aviation job market.  The Aviation Business Studies Program combines business skills and flight training in a program designed to prepare graduates for their first aviation job and beyond.

The aviation courses are conducted by Harv's Air Service is a family owned and operated air service located just south of Steinbach, Manitoba. Offering both accelerated but very comprehensive courses for all licences and permits from the Recreational Permit on through to the Multi-IFR and Instructor Ratings. Since 1972 they have taken pride in offering the very best in flight training, in the safest, most enjoyable way possible.

The business courses of the program, delivered by Red River College in Steinbach, will prepare students for the business elements of the aviation industry through a blend of courses including communication, computer applications, accounting, human resources and marketing
